It's been an unwieldy tour season so far with snow storms, floods, even an ash cloud grounding us in Europe. But we're forging ahead with more shows, more advocacy, more bike touring, and, most exciting, a tour with fellow Kentuckians Yim Yames (My Morning Jacket) in July.

Yim, Daniel and I will do a week of of shows throughout the Appalachia region on our way to the Newport Folk Festival. We're performing to showcase the heritage of Appalachia and raise awareness about the distructive practice of Mountain Top Removal coal mining. Below you'll find info on all the shows. Hope to see all of you there for this acoustic trio show that promises to cover a lot of musical ground.

Take care and thanks for all the warm support!

The Dear Companion tour is wrapping up this week, and it was a huge success. Ben, Daniel, Cheyenne, and Dan traveled both coasts, performed a slew of shows at South By Southwest, and talk extensively with fans, showgoers, and folks in each community about how mountaintop removal coal mining affects everyone. On behalf of everyone - thank you all so much for the support! Don't forget to check Ben's social networks for the latest photos, coverage, and news. Additionally, sign up for the newsletter to get occasional updates from Ben!

Consequence of Sound has a very nice write-up on the new album with Daniel Martin Moore, Dear Companion, and go check out one of the first major reviews the album has received here.
