PledgeMusic brings fast support of new full-length studio album, Half-Made Man
Ben had written the music and tweaked the lyrics for his new full-length studio album, Half-Made Man, but he was looking at ways to fund the project. Ben said, “They call us independent musicians. They don’t mean that we do it by ourselves. They just mean we do it without a record label. And the only way that is possible or reasonable is because of a really supportive audience.” Ben was excited to team up with PledgeMusic to get the music out to his fans!
Ben was blown away by how quickly his amazing fans jumped at the chance to help him make Half-Made Man come to life. Within approximately 48hrs, Ben’s modest goal was met! Ben used a bare bones goal, not sure how fans would respond. He is excited to see all of the support because that means he will be able to make the album exactly how he wants it. Fans were thrilled to pledge for items such as hand-written (by Ben) lyrics to the song of their choice, a skype session/lesson with Ben and even his (in)famous “Cosby” sweater. Pledgers also get updates and can pre-order Half-Made Man (due out in the Fall). It’s not too late, if you want to join the other pledgers you still have time!! Also, 10% of all money raised over the goal will go to a charity that Ben cares very much about...Oxfam America.
